An Australian newspaper reports that the way people live is being affected by the rising costs of oil. People are starting to make decisions based on how much oil will be consumed. Some people are choosing stores that are closer and the scooter boom isn't slowing down.

San Francisco resident Shari Gab has organized a Bike/Moped/Scooter wash on Sunday May 28th, 2006 to help raise funds for AIDS victims and their families.

Ohio man dies in scooter accident

A 72-year old scooterist died in Ohio as a result of a scooter accident. Authorities say that there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol and the man was wearing a helmet. It appears that he lost control and crashed. Our condolences to the friends and family of “Mr. Fixit”

Haynes releases manual for twist and go scooters

Haynes has now released a service manual for Twist and Go scooters. This manual covers scooters with engine displacements from 50cc to 250cc and it covers around 86 different models. Many modern scooter are very similar inside and a lot of repair can apply to multiple scooters.

LML still in trouble

Fans of classic Vespa and Genuine Stella scooters will be sorry to hear that LML is still having some serious financial problems and is still unable to pay their workers. LML builds the Stella as well as the Retroscooter Belladonna. They also sell new engines that can be installed into classic largeframe Vespa scooters.
